On 10 July the time had finally come: at 10:13 a.m., a burst of cheers erupted inside the German Hörmann KG Antriebstechnik located in Steinhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. At this moment, the 10,000,000th Hörmann SupraMatic garage door operator completed its final assembly and "walked" off the production line!
The ten millionth operator remains at Hörmann KG Antriebstechnik and joins Hörmann's own “Hall of Fame”collection.
Mr. Christoph Hörmann, a member of the Hörmann family, and Mr. Hedrich, the AST factory manager, attended the celebration and expressed their gratitude to all the employees.
Mr. Hedrich spoke about the history of the AST factory in producing garage door operators, from the first generation in 1998 to the current fourth generation. The Hörmann SupraMatic garage door operator has undergone countless improvements and innovations, consistently exceeding expectations, and has now gained recognition in the global market.
Mr. Christoph Hörmann stated, "For 26 years now, Hörmann KG Antriebstechnik has stood for high technical expertise, quality and innovation. The AST factory is one of Hörmann's 40 factories worldwide, primarily specializing in the production of various types of door products and their control systems. Hörmann garage doors worldwide, including the Chinese market, are equipped with high-quality motors from the AST factory.
